A Bit About Aimee

Aimee Ortega is a writer who pairs strategic insight with emotional intelligence to mindfully craft narratives that foster connection, amplify impact, and inspire readers and target audiences.

She is currently working as a Copy Supervisor at Inizio Evoke Drive, writes an occasional newsletter, and is a lead organizer for Hold the Lane—a bicycle collective that works to cultivate and nurture physical, emotional, and mental health through community rides for Black, Brown, and Queer cyclists.

Aimee spends her free time reading, sewing clothes, trying to find a good movie, cooking the latest Smitten Kitchen recipe, or following the whims of her many desires.

She lives in Detroit with her two cats, Mackerel and Marlin.
